At Elim Springs Academy we believe in doing things the correct way, therefore admission into our school is taken very seriously; we require an interview with both parents and child. We want to get to know you and your child. Our step-by- step admissions process is designed to provide ample opportunity for your family to get to know our school and for us to get to know you and your child. Students are accepted into ESA Christian school after they meet our required admissions procedures.
Once you have determined that ESA Christian school may be the right choice for your child, you can begin the online/front desk application process immediately. The following policies apply to students seeking admission to ESA;
01
Our main admission of new children takes place at the end of each academic year – every September and this is for the new academic year which starts in October. Although our main intake is in September, we will also accept new children into pre-school (Creche, Nursery 1 & 2) in January and Summer Term (April), subject to slots still available.
02
We operate admissions and allocate sessions to new children through different processes for each level. Parents interview with principal or manager, Coordination Development Test and Diagnostic Test to see where your child is at. *The grade expectation for all students applying is a “pass” or “higher in all core subjects. Anything below, that will need administrator’s approval*. It is after this a recommendation with the correct programme will be tailored to suit your child. Once you accept our feedback, we can then offer you admission. We request that parents give a full disclosure of their child’s development at interview.
03
All students enrolling in KG1 must be 5 years old on or before September 1 and fully potty trained and independent in the washroom (mandatory). All KG2/Grade 1 students must be 5-6 years old on or before September 1 and fully potty trained and independent in the washroom (mandatory).
