- About Mrs. Annette Baidoo
Mrs. Baidoo has a desire and passion to reach children and their families with the gospel of Jesus Christ. She has an abundance of experience in and of the caring sector.
Annette successfully managed City Gates Day Nursery in London for over 5 years, where she was responsible for the day-to-day management of the nursery and ensuring that standards set by OFSTED(educational regulatory body) were met. She was also responsible for leading a team of 20 staff members, whom she made sure were thoroughly trained and updated regularly.
As well as being a trained nurse, Annette is trained in EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and ACE(Accelerated Christian Education curriculum ), Annette holds the following qualifications:
NAMC (National Association of Maternal & Child Welfare)
• Childcare Level 3 in Pre-school Practice • Montessori Theory
• ESOL Teaching (stage 1) • BTEC Level 5 in Management
Other training undertaken include Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Pediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, SEN(Special Educational Needs) and Working with babies & 2 year old’s.
Annette has worked with various schools in the UK taking on young teenagers in the work place as work experience, this gives the young teenagers a broad outlook on what it is like to be at work, it builds self confidence and prepares them for adult life.
Annette is keen to carry on this work through Elim Springs Academy. She is keen to pursue the spirit of excellence in the work she does, raising the next generation for Christ. Annette works alongside her husband in the Gideon’s ministry.
